Mandapeta, Andhra Pradesh: Building an inclusive education system requires consistent efforts from communities, educators, volunteers, and social organizations. Working with this vision, Smiley Children Society has continued its mission of empowering children through education and community service since its establishment on January 19, 2019.

Founded by Prudhvi Moses, the organization has been actively serving rural communities through its headquarters in Mandapeta, along with branch offices in Angara (East Godavari District) and Pothavaram (West Godavari District). Over the years, Smiley Children Society has focused on creating opportunities for children from financially disadvantaged families by addressing barriers that prevent them from accessing education.

One of the organization’s major initiatives is assisting children with admission to government schools. Volunteers conduct community outreach programs, identify children who are not enrolled in school, counsel parents on the importance of education, and help complete admission procedures in coordination with school authorities.

The initiative has been appreciated by Headmaster Swamy Narayan, who praised the organization’s volunteers for simplifying the admission process and acknowledged Founder Prudhvi Moses for his dedication to promoting education among underserved communities.

“Every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a supportive environment. Education has the power to transform not only individual lives but also entire communities. Our volunteers are committed to ensuring that children receive the guidance and support they need to begin that journey,” said Prudhvi Moses.

To help students succeed after enrollment, Smiley Children Society conducts free evening tuition classes in Angara. These classes provide academic assistance, homework support, and exam preparation, helping children improve their understanding of subjects and perform better in school.

The organization complements this initiative by providing free dinner to students attending the tuition sessions. This integrated approach supports children’s education while addressing nutritional needs, allowing students to focus on learning without additional hardship.

Smiley Children Society also advocates for strengthening early childhood education by encouraging Anganwadi centres to adopt creative and interactive teaching methods. During educational events, Prudhvi Moses has highlighted the value of storytelling, visual learning tools, educational games, and activity-based teaching in nurturing children’s curiosity and confidence from an early age.

To support schools in implementing these practices, the organization regularly donates educational materials, teaching aids, and classroom equipment, helping educators create more engaging learning environments.
